Prayer for the Feast of the Innocents

Lord our God, as we continue to celebrate the birth of your Son, may we remember all the innocent victims of war, abuse, and violence in our world. Hear their prayers and comfort them with your grace. Make us vehicles for healing, justice and reconciliation for all victims who suffer due to human injustice. Foster and convict those in authority that they may lay down their arms of violence and war which cause distress and pain for their peoples. Have mercy on us all, this we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Blessed Lady, Mother of God, pray for us this Christmas season. As you behold your Son, the Word Incarnate, help us to obey and hear the Word present in our midst. Mary most holy, we beseech thee to pray for us to the Lord our God, who is ruler of us all, Amen.

Prayer for the Christmas Season:

Holy and living God, you sent Jesus your Son into the world to take upon our human nature. Prepare and purify our hearts, that the Word of God, who was born in a manger 2000 years ago, may be born in our hearts and that He would direct our lives to the glory of your name. Through Jesus the Lord, Amen.

Prayer for St John's Day (December 27)
Eternal God, you called St John to witness the crucifixation of your Son, Jesus Christ. Breathe your Spirit upon us so that we may be witnesses to your enduring and eternal life, through Jesus the Christ, Amen.
